What is the Gertrude Caldwell Legacy Society

The Gertrude Caldwell Legacy Society was established to recognize, honor, and thank donors who make legacy commitments to YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee. The Society was named in honor of Gertrude Caldwell, who has championed YWCA as a volunteer, employee, and donor for decades.

What Does Membership Include

  • Invitation to the Gertrude Caldwell Legacy Society gatherings
  • Invitation to other YWCA events
  • Recognition in YWCA website and print communications
  • Special communication of YWCA initiatives

How Do I Join

When you inform YWCA of your legacy commitment, you become a member of the Gertrude Caldwell Legacy Society. If you wish, you may remain anonymous. There are many ways to create your own legacy. You can make a deferred gift through your will, donor advised fund, charitable trust, life insurance, or retirement account. Please explore this website to learn about your options. If you have already included YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee in your estate plan, please let us know so we may recognize you as a member of the Gertrude Caldwell Legacy Society.
